Lead Casino Cleaner - Graveyard (Bilingual Preferred)
POSITION SUMMARYThis position is responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, sanitizing, restocking, and tidying all common areas at the Isle Casino and Hotel & Lady Luck Casino and Hotel which include the lobby, lunchroom, locker room, casino floor, board room, elevators, hallways, stairwells, public restrooms, event center, offices, restaurant floors, and escalatorsAS A LEAD THE INCUMBENT WILL BE:
Provides continuing training and retraining of Housekeeping team membersWorks with the supervisor to prepare work schedules and monitors work performance of housekeeping teamRefers all counseling, disciplinary action(s) and performance issues to the supervisorBilingual PreferredRESPONSIBILITIES Check the schedule for daily work assignments and sign out radioIn conjunction with the Casino Cleaner Supervisor directs and monitors Housekeeping team members in the care and cleaning of the gaming equipment, floors, walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, sills, corridors, elevators, stairways, ashtrays, fixtures, furniture, restaurant floors , lobbies, VIP lounge, and public restrooms in all common areasCollect and empty trashTransport trash to the proper designated areaClean, disinfect, sanitize, restock and tidy the common areas by performing the following tasks:
Assists in development and implementation of the cleaning program for window care, carpet care, floor care, general cleaning, deep cleaning, sanitizing and use of cleaning chemicals and cleaning equipmentWipe, scour, disinfect and/or sanitize counters, cabinets, sinks, toilets, urinals, showers, drains, drawers, hooks, light switches, shelves, mirrors, walls, doors, windows, drinking fountains, lockers, waste receptacles and built in seatingDisinfect, sanitize, sweep, scour, mop and/or vacuum floors, mats and/or outside deckingUtilize floor machines as neededVacuum and/or spot clean stains, hair or lint on furnitureRemove calcium, lime deposits and rust off hardware and wallsWipe, disinfect and sanitize gaming machinesWipe, disinfect and sanitize ATM/NRT machinesMopping floors around bars, front desks, restaurants, restrooms, entrances, and elevator lobbiesResponsible for removing all trash and debris from machines, floors, and trash cansEnsure the safety of guests and team membersEnsure baseboards, built in seating, fans, furniture, decorations, toilet paper and paper towel holders, light fixtures, window treatments and/or vents are free of dust and grime and in the proper placementDust and polish wood trimRefill hand sanitizerRestock and/or refill amenities, cleaning supplies, paper products, locker rooms, housekeeping storage areas, and public restroomsCollect, empty and transport trash throughout the day from all common areasUtilize the correct cleaning agent for each cleaning taskReport maintenance issues to the maintenance department and notify a housekeeping manager or supervisor for accountabilityRefill all chemical bottles using the proper dilution system and ensure they are properly labeled per OSHA regulationMaintain and manage various projects being proactive in the design and implementation of systems to complete the projectsUpdate the hourly sign in sheets for public restroomsAssist other departments in special cleans, and guest requestsTurn off lights and lock doors in areas that are not in use or when finished cleaningKeep storage areas neat, clean and organizedKeep the housekeeping storage areas, carts and cleaning caddies well stockedUphold Company Culture and observe Company policies and proceduresMaintain a positive working relationship with all contacts, always being helpful and courteousWear proper uniform and name badge and adhere to Company appearance standards at all timesVacuum all floorsAttend and participate in company-wide training sessions and department staff meetingsPerform other duties as assignedFollow Company guidelines Have complete knowledge of all special events and promotional activities.
