Summary:
Supports restaurant by cooking guests food responds to special server/guest needs. Promotes the image of Affinity Gaming as providing The Best Customer Service in Black Hawk, through Genuine Service to all casino guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides Genuine Service to internal and external guests.
Attends to guests by insuring that meals are hot, fresh and correct. Interacts with customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
Work as a team to serve and respond to customer request and special needs.
Completes all prep work duties in a timely manner. Completes special projects as requested. Product Knowledge & Time Management a plus.
Prepares all food items according to standard recipes and menu to ensure consistency and quality of product to guest.
Set-up, service, and clean-up of assigned food production station
Must have proficient knowledge of at least three (3) area in the kitchen (Grill, saut , fry, prep, pantry)
Prepares foods, maintains kitchen and stores food in accordance with applicable laws, policies, procedures and all applicable health and sanitation codes.
Maintains adequate supplies of food, cleaning supplies, and other food preparation supplies for 3 stations on the hot line.
Ensures the cleanliness of equipment, work area and kitchen
Rotates stock to ensure usage and disposal occurs before the expiration date. (FIFO)
Adheres to kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
Adheres to control procedure for food costs and quality.
Creates and maintains a safe work environment including the safety and training procedures in the handling of food service equipment
Follows standard recipes for food preparation; tests cooked foods to determine if properly cooked and seasoned.
Assists in maintaining the kitchen and dining area and equipment and utensils in safe and sanitary manner.
Reviews all work products to ensure the highest levels of standards are met.
Must be able to learn and retain training information for regular skill testing.
Must show ability to effectively make decisions and show basic critical thinking skills.
Performs other duties are required.
Qualifications
Must be able to lift and move 50
pounds.
Must work required shifts including week-ends/holidays.
Previous demonstrated success in meeting attendance requirements.
Must meet Productivity requirements. Must meet Quality Standards.
Must meet Safety and Security guidelines.
